La vivienda combina a la perfección el estilo tradicional castellano —con piedra y madera natural— con una reforma moderna que aporta comodidad y calidez. El resultado es un espacio acogedor, elegante y con una personalidad única, donde te sientes como en casa desde el primer instante. Otro punto fuerte es su ubicación privilegiada, en pleno entorno natural de las Hoces del Río Riaza, perfecta para desconectar, disfrutar de la naturaleza y hacer excursiones por una de las zonas más bonitas de Castilla y León. En definitiva, el Wabisabi Townhouse es mucho más que un alojamiento: es una experiencia rural auténtica, acogedora y con muchísimo encanto. Un lugar al que apetece volver… y que, sin duda, deja huella. ✨

La reforma de la casa ha quedado increíble. Tiene muchos detalles y una estufa que es ideal para no pasar nada de frío.
Todo nos gustó mucho. Aunque la habitación de arriba al no tener ventanas es difícil ventilarla.

House was beautifully restored and presented with very well-equipped kitchen, and lots of interesting knick-knacks around the house. The house was very clean, and we were welcomed into the house by a neighbour (even though we were three hours later than originally intended!), who was available if needed through our stay, and who cleaned the house part way through our (10-day) stay. The owner (Mercedes) had also provided us with lots of useful information in advance of our visit. The house is located in a friendly village (or small town) with a couple of shops and bars, and with lovely walks / stunning scenery in the natural park, and plenty of interesting places to visit in the surrounding areas. the local bar was welcoming and provided plentiful food (although limited English unless the owners' son was home from work). The internet connection in the house was good, and on-street parking was readily available close to the house.
The house (I suppose unsurprisingly for Spain) has only a few small windows. No doubt this is ideal in mid-summer, but could get a bit chilly when we were there in October. However, there is a pellet-burning stove provided which we didn't actually use, so it can't have been too bad. It is also worth noting that there is no garden or outside seating (other than taking kitchen chairs out onto the pavement or going to the local park, both of which we did). Again, this is unsurprising for a townhouse, but would have been nice given that the house was quite dark, and it was warmer outside than in. These are not criticisms of the house, but it may be useful for people to know. Other minor points are that the stairs are a bit uneven, so may not be suitable for all, and we would have found it useful to have a bit more worktop / shelf space in the kitchen, which could be made available with fewer artefacts.
