Clean and spacious

Spacious, well equipped apartment in great location and very clean. Two generous bedrooms and a large comfortable sofa bed plus a really good shower and a real bonus having a second toilet downstairs. Very close to all the major sights so we walked everywhere! Iglesia de los Jesuitas is very close to the apartment and you can climb the towers for lovely views across the city. Although we didn't meet our hosts there was very good communication with them. Clear instructions with a really useful video of how to find and access the apartment. None of the comments below would stop me staying in the apartment again which was very good value for price.

The apartment was cold when we arrived however we stayed 4 nights and once we mastered the heating we got to a comfortable temperature. Extra bedding was available. There was alot of noise on the streets at night - take ear plugs if you're a light sleeper. Being Brits we would have appreciated an electric kettle.

Very poor quality apartment, unreliable owner.

Location

1. Completely unreliable owner: booked 7 months in advance for 6 nights for € 390. Two months before check-in we suddenly received a message that there was a so-called "error" in the price and we were given the choice to agree with a price increase of €300 extra, a whopping 77%, or the owner would cancel the booking! We felt very intimidated by this. 2. The owner has left the management of the apartment to a company and does not respond to WhatsApp messages on his account himself. Completely rude! The company itself is not always friendly and/or helpful. 3. The apartment has been renovated with very cheap materials. It is VERY noisy. You hear everything that happens on the street. You have the feeling that you are staying in a tent at the campsite. 4. Strange people regularly sit on the steps in front of the front door calling, talking, or smoking. 5. The apartment is equipped with the MINIMUM comfort: * only 3 drinking glasses * only 2 wine glasses * beds too narrow and too short * only 5 nespresso cups for 2 people for 6 nights! This is embarrassing. you better not give anything... * no washing powder * no kitchen linen * only 1 blanket for 2 beds (notified in advance that we sleep separately, but we had to fight to get extra blankets). * small bathroom with very small shower cubicle. * non-working AC remote control * leaking AC. We had to put a bucket under the AC to catch the water! * not properly closing windows and shutters. * roller blind that cannot be rolled up * etc. etc. About all the defects that we reported, the managing company said that they had never been reported by other tenants before... You could clearly see from this apartment that this absolutely cannot be true! If we had known this in advance, we would absolutely never have booked this apartment!

Lovely apartment

Lovely apartment in a great location. Bottle of wine left for us which was a nice touch. 10 mins walk to Zocodover Plaza. Bars, restaurants and shops a few steps away. People are really friendly. A stunning quirky and clean city. I've never seen refuse being collected and streets being cleaned 24 hours a day anywhere before! They even hose down all the streets through the night.

Basic kitchen equipment, no kettle or toaster. Shower cubicle and waste drain grubby. Upstairs toilet bowl a bit wobbly. If nightclub (Next Level) at the end of the road is open then the revellers can still be on the streets until after 6am and the windows of the apartment don't offer much noise reduction. The only negative in an otherwise fantastic location. Beware of the steep hills absolutely everywhere and the opening times of bars and restaurants seem to be a bit random.

Noise cancellation. You can hear regular conversations on the street from the entire place but I guess is the toll for the location

Las camas muy cómodas

Hay tres escalones altísimos para entrar. La puerta cuesta de abrir porque está descolgada. Le faltan cosas muy básicas como una escoba, un secamanos... Hay tres perchas en los mini armarios, apenas hay sitio para guardar la ropa. No hay cucharillas pequeñas, para el café con leche teníamos que utilizar las cucharas soperas. El equipamiento de cocina muy muy básico.

El ruido, de noche se escuchan las conversaciones perfectamente de la gente que pasa y de los que limpian la calle. En la cocina faltan utensilios básicos.
