The Yellow Rose of Talbot Bed and Breakfast

This was our home base for our son’s Ironman event in Cambridge. I have no words adequate for how much our expectations were exceeded in every way. Tammy greeted us with such warmth and welcoming. Our room was very spacious with all the amenities to keep us comfortable. We knew we had to leave early the next morning to get to the race and thought we would take a chance and ask if there was anything that could be put in a “to go” bag to eat on the drive. Without hesitation, Tammy presented us with the normal breakfast menu, was up before sunrise and had a hot meal cooked and ready for us at 5:00 am. This went completely above and beyond anything we ever expected! Our breakfast was perfect for eating ion the go. the breakfast sandwiches and potatoes were delicious! We were so excited to try dining during her normal breakfast hours the next morning. The variety of menu items was extremely difficult to choose from. From the presentation of our breakfast on beautiful China to the delicious taste of EVERYTHING we tried, Tammy again exceeded every expectation. We recommend the bananas foster French toast casserole, the eggs Benedict, the blueberry and lemon curd French toast casserole, the homemade scones, and the yogurt parfaits. Tammy treated us like old friends and is such a pleasure to talk with. After driving 5 hours to get home, I suddenly realized my purse was missing. There was no need to worry, as Tammy had left messages on my husband’s phone hours before. She very kindly boxed it up and dropped it off for UPS pickup, even paying for shipping and trusting me to drop a check in the mail to her. I have never had such incredible customer service during every aspect of our time with Tammy. I highly recommend the Yellow Roae of Talbot! I hope to be back soon!

Extremely comfortable accommodations and excellent breakfast! On top of that our host was wonderful.
