Wonderful place, perfect location!

Beautiful garden with blooming flowers, nice clear pool. Perfect location! Supermarkets, boutiques, restaurants just on the corner! But I walked to down town in 12 minutes what was excellent! I recommend Harmony to all my friends and family!

The Harmony Inn is hidden hideway.

The property was clean and safe. The hostess was very warm, inviting and accommodating. She made us a great breakfast-I’m a vegan and she made me a wonderful alternative breakfast, just for me. I really appreciated that, it was soso nice of her. She offered pick up and drop offs for a small nominal fee. A plus was the rooms were very affordable.

Only 2 things we were dissatisfied with was (The Bed) it was way too soft, so my friend and I woke up with a tightness in our back and stiffness in our necks. the hostess asked how did we sleep we we mentioned it. She gave us the option to move to another room for a fee* or place a board under the mattress. We appreciated her trying to accommodate us, but we respectfully declined both offers as we only had 1 more day too rough it out. The 2nd thing is I just noticed they tried to charge my card again, we communicated thru WhatsApp during my stay, but I haven’t received any new messages on my WhatsApp in regards to any other charges. We left the room spotless, and turned off the A/C as the hostess requested. I’m hoping that was an error on there part. because that’s not a good look.

It was a terrible experience, never experienced anything like it, not nice, such an apartment has be

When I got there at the apartment , they didn't even know I booked and paid, to the apartment, was terrible, smells musty, the door does not close, toilet is outside, nooit seen something like that,I could not stay in it in an unsafe place, such a place is not to stay in, that is dirty, I went to the reception to go for another apartment because that is not habitable. I asked for another property, they didn't have, I couldn't stay in it with my allergy, unhygienes space, they deposited my money back on my visa card.sunday i get an app from the owner of Palmita that i have to pay the apartment otherwise he calls police and puts my name to immigration and I get police at my door. I told him I paid. and they deposited the money back, because they knew that house was uninhabitable, now he comes to threaten me, that he is the owner and he is a lawyer. I have until July 13 to pay otherwise he is going to put my name to immigration and with the police, I find this really annoying to deal with people like that, you can't treat people like that and give them a mess, to stay in it, we don't live in the third world. I have paid they have refunded the money and now he comes threatening me as if I am a thief, not neat from that owner, I have done nothing wrong, I hope there will be a solution , because I am very angry how , that owner has apped and threatened

I travelled already half a year on a budget before getting here, but this is the first time I feel like I need to write something to give other people a warning. I could make a list of the annoying things that happend to me and the other guests during my stay, but Instead I just tell you that the owner is a strange and judgemental person, overwhelmed with the task of running a hostel/hotel. On top of that, there were cat and/or dog hairs everywhere in my room and on the bed. In the end the owner claimed on booking that i didn't show up and my only explanation for the relativly good score of this place is that they do that more often. If you read the reviews on google and there replies (they basically just praise themselve and always blame the guests for everything) you get a better picture of what you are dealing with.. Better pay a little bit more and have a much a better experience.. In this case it's really worth it.

Never, ever, ever again.

The pool area was nice. Supermarket and bakery were nearby. Wifi was good. Beds were reasonably comfortable.

Things were a bit dodgy from the beginning. They ran my card without authorization and without notification. I was overcharged ($10 for a “credit card processing fee”… I would have paid cash). I paid for transport from the airport (which I got) but when I texted that my flight was delayed I got no response. Once I was at the airport, my transport wasn’t there. I had to walk over to the Hyatt and wait for the guys to show up (also… maybe don’t send two men to pick up solo female travelers? or just communicate that BEFORE they’re on their way? For the record, the guys were very nice, it was just kind of a red flag to have it sprung on me like that.) The owners of the property are pretty awful. Communication is very poor. All of the sheets were taken off the beds and not replaced while two of us were still staying in the hostel. When I informed the owners, I was basically gaslighted… she tried to tell me (from whatever country she’s in (not Aruba)) that my bed had sheets and then accused me of trying to change beds every day, even as I was actively sending her pictures of the beds with no sheets on them. She used an extremely condescending tone while speaking to me instead of just apologizing and fixing the problem. She also told me that the other guest had not paid for his stay and that he needed to pay to get his sheets back. She obviously had no idea what was going on and was just spouting off any excuse she could come up with for why there were no sheets. When the property manager finally made it back to the hostel, he tried speaking over me and even blamed one of the other guests for the fact that the sheets had not been replaced. The guest in question had checked out earlier that day and had apparently been tasked with communicating to the Spanish-speaking cleaning person which beds needed to be stripped and remade.
