We had a very pleasant stay. The holiday home is located in a quiet and peaceful area, with very little traffic. There was a playground with a swing directly opposite the house, so our children could play safely outside in front of the house. The house was clean and well maintained, the beds were comfortable, and we slept very well. When we noticed that a set of bed linen was missing, we contacted the host. The issue was resolved the following day, and we appreciated the quick response and support.

There were just a few things we would have wished for during our stay. It would have been helpful to have suitable coffee pods available for the coffee machine, as the ones provided were not compatible. We would have been happy to buy some ourselves, but as we arrived on Saturday evening, it was difficult to find suitable ones at that time. We also noticed quite a few ants on the garden table. Unfortunately, this made having meals outside less enjoyable, as the ants were attracted to the food. Regarding the bathroom, we would have appreciated a better solution for the shower area. There is no shower tray or barrier, so water spreads across the bathroom floor when showering and does not drain away completely. As the bathroom also has no window for ventilation, we had to wipe up the remaining water with kitchen towels after showering to prevent the floor from staying wet.

Heerlijk huisje. Ook gezellig. Op een paar minpuntjes na zouden we er prima langer willen verblijven.

De verwarming werkte niet naar behoren. In de slaapkamers was het te warm. In de woonkamer juist te koud. Dit was moeilijk te regelen. In de badkamers hingen geen haken om je kleding aan te hangen. De koekenpan was versleten. De communicatie per mail was niet fijn. Voor een verblijf van 3 dagen ontvingen we in totaal wel 30 mailtjes. Veelal met dezelfde inhoud, maar toch telkens net iets anders. Dat was erg onoverzichtelijk. Op booking.com leek het een vrij goedkope accommodatie. Later bleek dat we nog ongeveer 300 euro moesten bijbetalen. Dat werd gecommuniceerd als zijnde een borg. Maar het was helemaal geen borg, maar het waren gewoon extra kosten. We kregen daar dus niets van terug. En daar ga je wel vanuit als het 'borg' genoemd word. We vinden dat daar niet eerlijk over gecommuniceerd is.
