Was very clean and confortable.
The breakfast was very inconfortable, because I had to take my tray with what I had eaten to the rack, and I eate with the tray racks right next to us. Hilton prices and student‑canteen services.

Breakfast was terrific, plenty of variety. Good coffee machines. Easy parking, good wifi. Bus stop right outside to get you into the old town (Route 6). The staff will provide you with a Bodensee West pass that provides free bus and train travel. Big luggage trollys were very helpful.
Would be good if people didn't congregate at the main hotel doors to smoke their lives away. Germany should adopt Australian laws where smokers have to be 5 metres from building entrances.

It's a 35-40 minute walk to the city center. By car, it's about 8-10 minutes.

The breakfast was varied. It is possible to walk to the Old Town via the pleasant riverside in around 30 minutes. There were some food options within walking distance. The outside of the hotel is nicely landscaped.
We did not receive the standard of welcome or customer service expected of a Hampton by Hilton, or for the relatively expensive price paid, which we chose to pay because we thought the experience would be better. The check in was awful. We arived 2 and a quarter hours after check in time started and our room was not ready. Reception was chaotic and communication was terrible. We witnessed arguments and angry words being exchanged between several members of staff, all in front of customers. There was no clear information and we had to simply stand at the desk with very little information. Our receptionist walked away, saying she was going to inspect a room and never returned. After 20 minutes or more, another gave us a key card without telling us a room was actually now ready. We requested financial compensation because, just as the hotel would charge us if we were to request late check out, they should be prepared to compensate us for not being able to check in - they did not provide sufficient compensation and we are still waiting for this. Additionally, the room was not of the usual quality, there were stains and marks on many of the walls. Overall very disappointing from a previously trusted brand.
