Alvur, the host, is conscientious providing many amenities and local touches. He is owner, concierge and tour advisor, helping us navigate the city of Torshavn and the Faroe Islands as a whole. He was also super friendly and a great representative of Faroyan hospitality. We booked the room about 5 months in advance, and almost immediately he started communicating details of what to expect, recommendations for places to shop, eat, and visit. The apartment was very clean, and cozy, and situated in a neighborhood that was quiet and yet a great way to dip deeper into Faroe Island culture.
Having to leave. :) We also wished for better weather, but such is the nature of the Faroe Islands. We managed to deal with this. Alvur even provided us a brush to clean the mud from our shoes, and the free laundry was a real blessing!

Beautiful, comfortable and spotlessly clean apartment with everything we needed in a good location. Excellent facilities. We met our host Alvur on arrival and he was extremely pleasant and helpful. We knew where to find him if we needed him but he did not interfere with our visit.
There is nothing negative that I can say.
