The staff were very attentive, and the location of the hotel is truly excellent.
This hotel feels as though it has seen better days. I initially stayed in a room with what was probably the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept on. I could feel the wires through the mattress, which made for a very restless night and forced me to change rooms the following day. I was given a choice of two other rooms that were an improvement, but still not what I had expected.
The main issue is that the hotel overall feels very old and in need of refurbishment. This is especially noticeable in the bathroom and toilet areas. The shower was rusty, some fixtures were broken, and it looked as though these spaces hadn’t been upgraded in a long time. It simply didn’t feel clean or pleasant.
My stay included breakfast, but this was never mentioned or offered to me. While I wasn’t feeling well and didn’t plan to have breakfast anyway, it was still strange that it was never brought up.
Overall, the stay was okay, but for the price I paid, I believe I could have found much better accommodation elsewhere.
