Location very close to the shops

We enjoyed the area boat trip - train to Edinburgh-enjoyed Berwick-upon-Tweed
Confused which one was the garden. Didn't use it.
Cooker works, but the knobs need replacing invest in a new cooker and induction hob (electric).
The bathroom needs a bath trim.
Meet and greet would be good.

The Nook is a really cosy place to stay for a few days exploring Berwick Upon Tweed and surrounding areas. The decor is lovely and the accommodation is comfortable. Parking nearby was no problem at all for us. We loved settling down for the evening watching the tv on the comfortable sofa with the glow of the electric fire. The shower was powerful and always a great temperature. The little garden is very handy when travelling with a dog as we were. The town is beautiful and logs of lovely restaurants and local businesses to explore. Lovely train ride to Edinburgh for the day. Also close by for a drive to Bamburgh and coastal walks.
The property is showing signs of some wear and tear and has a damp smell to the bedrooms in particular. This didn’t affect our stay and is likely just due to the age of the property but something worth mentioning. As the accommodation is ground floor, the footfall from the residents upstairs and noise from their tv was quite noticeable, but thoughtfully ear plugs were provided next to the bed which was helpful.

the house was cosy, comfortable and clean with lots of little touches such as sweets, coffee, tea, condiments, washing up liquid etc. The kitchen was extremely well equipped. The sitting room was big and very comfortable with books, games and local info to hand. Large bedroom was lovely and smaller room had childrens books. Loo roll and towels were a great bonus.
The locatuin was great with supermarkets minutes away and a nice walk over the bridge into the town. Located in a very quiet, pretty street. Amazing garden!!
tiny little things as constructive hints, not criticisms.
A mirror in the small bedroom, even on the wall, would help. The shower door was fixed so you need to step into the bath in order to get the water temp sorted and could be a burn risk esp for children.

garden at the back not easily accessible. Up 8 + steep stone steps. Garden directly in front belonged to upstairs. Odd! Had to ensure only used fenced off garden to the right.
