Location, the look, the serenity and access to bbq, seating, fire pit etc and parking was great too
There were 3 of us, yet there was only enough items (barring plates/bowls) for 2 people (towels/cups/ coffee pods etc)

Loved the cleanliness, the owners left all kinds of things on the property to make their guests feel at home. The room was definitely decorated for a woodsy lodge-type feeling. Outdoor spaces were welcoming and set up for enjoying the mountain air.. Met some other guests who were friendly and we all enjoyed the outdoor space sitting around in a circle getting to know each other with lots of laughing and sharing information about the area.
I thought the beds were a little hard. But my spouse slept ok. Not much space to spread out personal items, but the owners did utilize every inch of a pretty small room to provide the best experience possible for their guests.

Nestled at the base of the mountains, the property enjoys a peaceful and quiet setting while still offering convenient access to the main road
The kitchenette lacks an extractor hood, so cooking odours quickly become trapped in the room. The cookware is also quite worn and could do with being replaced.
The bedding and pillows were of poor quality, and the bed wasn't particularly comfortable. I would have preferred hotel-quality bedding for a more comfortable night's sleep.
Some electrical sockets were loose and appeared detached from their back boxes, which didn't feel safe to use.
The toilet had a ceiling-mounted heater continuously blowing hot air, with no obvious way to switch it off, making the toilet uncomfortably warm. The sink was also extremely small - a tiny corner sink that was impractical for everyday use.
