MVT hotel is a part of Iskcon which was important to me as a solo travelling lady in Rishikesh following a satvic diet was easy as the restaurant does not include any animal products in their kitchen avoiding cross contamination or onion and garlic.
The only thing that they need to upkeep is the pool area as in the 30 + degree heat it was nice to sit by the pool although I didn’t go into it!

The room was beautiful and the view was great too. The shower was great and bathroom very clean. Hallway had dirty cups outside our neighbours room which stayed all the time we were there but other than that it was okay
Beautiful garden area
The pool was not fit for use, we couldn’t swim in it, was very dirty and the hedges overgrown.
It was so so hot when we arrived so also couldn’t stand on the tiles as our feet were burn! 🔥

We stayed at MVT Rishikesh after a lovely experience at MVT Vrindavan last month, and this stay truly lived up to our expectations. The hospitality was warm and attentive, our upgrade was graciously accommodated, and the property was clean with beautiful views. The restaurant was excellent, and attending the kirtan was a truly blessed experience. Overall, a wonderful and fulfilling stay.

I came back to the property once again after a few days but again i found the staff to be super polite and they literally were super helpful .
They need to subcontract to a new cleaning company as the standards of room keeping were subpar.
