Everything was perfect. The staff welcomed me like a family and gave me a lot of information, the breakfast was nice and with a vegetarian option and the room was beautiful with very good working air conditioning. I loved the roof terrace with the moon and always felt safe and secure while travelling alone. The location is perfect because it is easy to find on the main street compared to places inside the medina but only 5 minutes to walk to everything inside the walls. It is also close to the city entrance from the other part of Fes and I had a key for the front door to access at all times. It felt like a family home and the building is beautiful, clean and like a palace. I loved it and would love to return some day 😊 oh also the hot water is great and the shower has really good pressure which can be rare!!
Nothing really. I don't speak French so it was difficult to explain about tea and breakfast sometimes as not everyone speaks English so that's just something to be aware of for English speaking travellers! Arabic and French are spoken more.

The rooftop terrace was nice, the beds were comfortable and it was a short walk to the medina, it was also on a main road for taxi stops
The bins in the room weren't emptied daily, nor were the beds made or the towels changed
