Location inside the castle walls was lovely, near to everything. Breakfast was lovely, a nice mixture of pastries, fruit, cereal, local pies, bread, meats and cheese. There is also a small selection of egg dishes and pancakes cooked to order. The rooms were cleaned daily and the staff were lovely and friendly, Penny kept up good communication on things with me and was very friendly and helpful. On lazy days it was nice to sit out in the courtyard and relax, you can go downstairs to the breakfast room where there is water, juice and coffee if you want during the day, you also get water in your room daily.

Really nice boutique hotel in the old citadel by the lake. Great breakfast.
Access with a bigger car can be tricky but that’s part of the charm of the place.

Great little hotel and great host. The house is old, but renovated with incredible attention to details, great pillows, high quality bed sheets, luxury branded toileteries, amazing breakfast with variety of choices and set menu options.
