Cabin - as seen on photos.

Private home. Open from Kitchen to living area. Loved stove. Fireplace was super nice. Half bath convenient. Beautiful showers. Nice spacious porch. -Kitchen was efficient, could have used a crockpot, cookie sheet, more pot holders; I loved they had some casserole bakeware. -Most cabins usually have left over staples, like oils, spices, flour, sugar, etc. to use, not this one. They did leave stash of cleaning supplies. Granite counter spray, etc. Was nice to have. Little back and forth with Evolve, but when in touch with actual owners, they were very nice! Personally, I prefer rentals that you are in direct contact with the owners, or smaller company that is familiar with property. -Would have liked a TV in master. -Hot tub would be awesome. -Holiday decor would have been nice.

-I did hand wash some bakeware and pots and pans before using. Not end of the world but for the cost, would be nice but to not have to prewash, though I probably would anyway. -Squeaking master bed frame. I found it annoying just the slightest move and it was squeaking, kept us up, so I had to sleep on couch. Just needs some shims. Bed is comfortable otherwise, just don't move. -Didn't think to ask this (never thought to before as prior NC mountain rentals always have holiday decor) but now I know, this cabin had zero holiday decor. Was bummed out by that. I love Christmas. - Need better option for those with Sunday checkout; dump we were directed to throw out trash was closed/wasn't an option to drop off our trash. Ended up driving with it all the way home.
