The cottage was really fantastic in terms of all our needs and in an ideal location. Highly recommended!

The location was fabulous with views over the coast and Holy Island. Travel to Berwick, Holy Island, Alnwick, Bamburgh and inland locations was easy.
The cottage was clean, comfortable and, generally, well equipped with crockery and pans in the kitchen and with books, maps, games and dvds in the lounge. The bathroom and en-suite had very hot water and the bath and shower were fab!
We all enjoyed and appreciated the cottage very much.
Although firewood and kindling were abundant there was no firelighters or matches on arrival.
There were ample wine glasses and tumblers but no smaller glasses for juice or spirits.
There was no Fairy Liquid or similar on arrival and also no salt and pepper.
We bought all of these and the hosts offered a small refund for which we were grateful.
NONE of the above caused substantial inconvenience or upset.
