How cozy it was and warm didn't need to light fire or put heating on beds were very clean and comfortable 👌

Very cute cottage vibe, loved the decor and finishing touches. Shared garden was lovely. Bed comfy.
The property needs a deep clean, dishes are greasy, shelves dusty and cobwebs about. The kitchen worktops and bathroom were generally clean but when you look closely there’s neglected things that need attention, eg oven dirty and smelly inside, plug in shower is gross. Towels were covered in bleach which is a definite no.

Der Garten und die ruhige Lage
Da an dem Haus nirgendwo "Willow Cottage" stand, und auch die Hausnummer nicht in meinen Informationen auftauchte, mussten wir in dem benachbarten Pub "Royal Oak" nachfragen, welches Haus das "Willow Cottage " sein könnte. Dank der freundlichen Servicekraft im Royal Oak und den direkten Nachbarn konnten wir ins Haus gelangen. Gut, dass wir schlank und mobil sind: die steilen, engen Treppen sind wirklich gefährlich. Die Kücheneinrichtung mit 2 Töpfen OHNE Deckel luden nicht zum Kochen ein. Zum Glück hatten wir sonniges, warmes Wetter, sonst wäre es ein sehr kalter, ungemütlicher Aufenthalt gewesen.

Beautifully decorated with a lovely garden. Perfect for a family break. The bed was very comfortable. Nice central location for the south and west Lake District.
Nowhere to put toiletries in the shower and the bath towels were a bit skimpy.
