It was like a Slum stay, a paid one

Third class hotel, pathetic service. Towels were old & dirty, room cleaning was done properly, the bedsheets were not changed for 3 continuous days, there were Mosquito blood stains on bedsheets used by previous accomodetees, paid tea was served with rusted flask & flakes of rust was floating in water, No gym, the whole hotel is not fully functional, power outages atleast 6 times a day, no power backup,

Overall Very bad experience of The Emerald Grand Hotel Dehradun.. Bad service, no comfort of stay. Not advisable to anyone to book in this hotel as compare to service rates are very high.. room size is small. Very very bad hotel

convenient hotel at a good price

good location for my work. big rooms. good room service. staff were nice and polite. check in and check out was quick. the room had a good sized balcony.

the towels and the linen looked a little tired and can do with better quality. the water did not seemed to be treated to be soft water.

Very good

Excellent food, very cordial and helpful staff, very accommodating. Our room had a lovely view and it was overall a very pleasant stay. We would definitely like to stay here again.

There was a confusion about whether or not our package included breakfast, as we were told on our last day that it was not. However, it was the hotel's confusion and they cleared up the misunderstanding quickly and took responsibility.

Pleasant

We overnighted at this hotel on our way to Gangotri and so we left before breakfast was served, the staff arranged a packed breakfast for us to take with us in the car.

Check in process seemed to take a really long time. Would have been nice to be able to adjust the AC settings, we froze when it was 40-deg outside. The price point seems a bit high?

A modern, comfortable hotel in Dehradun.

A modern property that appeared to have been recently completed. It has nice. large brightly lit guest rooms and common spaces.

They seemed to be having problems maintaining and keeping clean some of the architectural features. Although a full bar was promised by a sign outside the hotel, no alcohol was served at the time I was there. The hotel is located on a busy, pedestrian-unfriendly street.

Room was quite spacious and the view from the room was so good. Cleanliness 👍 Food was also good.

Couple Stay experience

The hotel was clean, well maintained, location is on main road, good parking facility, staff is very polite, Mountain facing rooms with good balcony space Try to choose Odd no. Room to get a clear sunrise view.

Staff is less but once you call they will fulfill the request on priority

Interior and View.

On non refundable confirmed booking hotel staff tried to shift us into another hotel by giving AC related excuses since our reaching time was confirmed by 7PM. It all was at the last moment just 10 minutes before to reach but on arrival they took around 30 minutes but provided room. Overall the room was good but the balcony was dirty. Housekeeping and Room service are good but the rest all need major improvements.

Brand new hotel with very accomodative and pleasant staff. Rooms are well equipped and spacious.

Nothing much to not like. Some window glasses especially on the lift shaft need proper cleaning. Too many paint marks.The bathroom basin faucets are located a bit too high and hence there is much splashing of water outside the basin.
