Lovely rural location, great to be able to sleep in the peace and quiet with no road noise. Parking is available near the lodge. Very well appointed unit, spacious, light and airy. Good to be able to sit out on the patio as it was lovely and sunny during our stay, it's a right little sun trap! Loved the fact the bedroom was separate to the living area so I could go to bed early and read, whilst my husband watched TV. [A lovely big TV too.] Enjoyed watching the wildlife including deer and foxes in the field beyond the garden. As others have said, follow the instructions sent by the host the day before you arrive, as it's tucked away and the postcode does not take you right to it! We would definitely stay again.

The property was beautifully decorated and modern inside. Had all the amenities you need for a short stay.
A couple of cleaning and maintenance issues in the bathroom (which, admittedly, we did not raise at the time) and a very uncomfortable mattress, which resulted in a very poor night’s sleep, were the biggest disappointments during our two-night stay.
Our first impression on arrival was not great. The garden table and chairs are old and either need replacing or, at the very least, arranging more neatly rather than being left strewn around the garden. I rearranged them myself for convenience.
Unfortunately, the property did not quite meet our expectations, especially given the positive reviews we had read before booking, although I’m sure these issues could be addressed going forward.
