IRIS Hotel Hải Phòng has friendly staff. The room was clean, reasonably spacious, and included a balcony. While a bit worn, the hotel is located in a quiet area with a convenient location near the airport.
Just across the street, by the lake, there’s a very good seafood restaurant — but be aware that they only accept cash.

very comfortable bed, quite room, hot powerful shower.
the biggest problem was the light on a timer in the room which can’t be turned off. So if you or your partner wakes up in the night the light turns on and wakes the other up.
also our window in our room went into the stairwell, which had a light on all night so it doesn’t get dark in the room, and also no fresh air in the room.
lastly the room gets cleaned with very strong products which isn’t pleasant.
