We love Waikoloa-we’ve never stayed in the Village, so it was fun learning more about this community. We usually stay down closer to the water and while we had a little drive to the beaches, the view is stunning no matter where you look and we just never feel like we get to stay long enough. Hawaii is a beautiful, magical place. We can’t wait to come back!

The property is comfortable. Location was good for what we wanted to do. Bed was really comfortable. Nice views.
The en-suite bathroom is pretty useless. If it were me, I’d move the entrance of it to the sink area and remove the shower/toilet room door. The space is too tight. You have to get in the shower to close the door. And there is a bad odor from it but that’s probably because it doesn’t get used very much so the “p-traps” don’t get water which would create the odor. I ran the shower to put water in the traps and that helped a lot.
We also had to live with cockroaches the entire stay. The staff puts out traps for them. They weren’t really bothersome to me but my husband wasn’t impressed.
And The dryer was full of sand!!!
