Highly Recommended

This La Quinta is newer so its in excellent condition with clean facilities & friendly staff. Easy access points all around the facility & easy to find. Spacious dining area to enjoy a basic breakfast or watch a game in the afternoon/evening on the TV. Bathrooms in the rooms actually have a door that shuts & not those dumb "barn door" designs with no privacy. *Weird Side Note: Even the "Exit" signs throughout the facility are well lit with a beautiful LED Green & easy to see.

The rooms needs a better temperature control unit to know exactly what your room temp setting is. Room lighting could be set up a bit better along with a bathroom vent. Bring your own bathroom spray.

Definitely will stay again if I’m in the area

Everything was very clean. The breakfast was THE BEST I’ve ever had at a hotel!! Very good food, lots of choices, and area was exceptionally clean!!

Relaxing peaceful the snack bar was expensive I paid $4.00 for one unsweetened ice tea!!

Close to all the places we wanted to see and visit

Lack of assortment of fruit and it cost more than the last time we were there! The biscuits were a little hard and the sausage could have been cooked more! Snack bar expensive!

A great stay

Nice rooms, fitness center and pool area. The breakfast area was fine and the landscaping being done at breakfast was all electric to minimize the impact on the guests.

The pool isn't heated or isn't heated very well and it's a bit on the small side.

Nice, new property with polite staff and nice breakfast each morning

Asked for fresh towels and for trash to be collected while we were out one day but it never was done; day staff always nice but spent a great deal of time outside smoking in a large group; no housekeeping the entire stay

A relatively new hotel with some needed improvements.

Really close to historic Bardstown, KY. The complimentary breakfast was good.

The commode in our room was not cleaned. Also the floor had food crusted to it. At 4:00 AM another guest close to our room had a dog that started barking and continued to close to 7AM.

Enjoyable stay. it was a big help to us to be staying on the first floor.

the location, breakfast was very good. Beds were comfortable. The staff was very courteous and helpful.

I think it would be helpful to have an additional towel rack in the bathroom and a toilet seat cover.

Breakfast was good, with a nice variety to choose from. Seating area was roomy and comfortable.

The only thing I didn't care for was the lady setting up for breakfast was a little noisy, slamming doors and such.

Brand new place on the outskirts of town, good for a stop on a trip, charges extra for dogs.

Very new, all in good repair.

They asked me to pay extra for my dog. I did not think LaQuinta charges extra for pets, this was actually the first time it happened to me. The stay was already quite expensive so this was not a welcome surprise.

Too many negatives (see comments), but give credit to friendly staff who tried to be helpful.

Coffee was good, and hot (as it should be). Breakfast was unhealthy and unappealing. See details under “What didn’t you like.”

Breakfast could have been much better. Should have whole grain cereals and breads instead of sugar laden pastries, fatty sausages. Should have more fresh fruits, such as strawberries and blueberries. Re bathroom: When we arrived, the only toilet paper in the room was 1/2 roll and no extra roll!! There was only one tiny bar of soap!! The ceiling light in the room entry-way did not work! There were no instructions as to how to turn it on. Not only was the entry-way dark, we could not see where on the microwave to turn it OFF and ON. There is not enough room to easily access the refrigerator and microwave with bathroom door so close to it. Poor construction!

excellent hotel with pool

Everything was very clean and new. Hotel staff very nice and helpful There is a pool, no hot tub or sauna. Very easy to get too off the main highway

The only complaint would be that breakfast ends at 9. Which is too early. But because it ends at 9, they stop putting stuff out like 8:15-8:30. So there’s nothing left if you show up at 8:45. That’s ridiculous
