My room was lovely it was so bright and sunny! I should have booked one floor up for a better view though. My view was still nice there were a lot of tropical trees nearby. The old city wall is right outside the windows. The bed was very comfortable but it was hard to get into being between two walls I had to climb in from the foot of the bed. There was lighting and electrical outlets at both sides for charging.
The location was perfect, very close to the bus stop which I needed, an easy walk along the water takes you over to the fortress and some stunning views. You are already in the Medina so it’s a short walk to shops and restaurants etc.
The staff there are exceptional, Najete was the woman I spoke to the most she was lovely and always helpful. And a great cook! I had dinner there one night and it was delicious, though the portions were way too large for me. Breakfasts were up on the rooftop patio and were so good! I’m still thinking about the tagine eggs! They were so kind to arrange an early breakfast for me the day I had to catch the 9am bus. All the staff that I encountered were friendly and helpful!
The view from the rooftop was beautiful, you could see the beach not far away as well as the old mosque and city walls.
There is no air conditioning which wasn’t a huge deal as it was not too hot, but in warmer months I think it would be a problem. I kept my window open a bit at night but had to be sure to have the screen on as cats wander along the city wall and one tried to come into my room which I kind of enjoyed but felt it might not be wise lol….
There are two windows but only one screen, I’m sure a second window being open would help keep the room cool at night.
This is not any fault of the property, but there is a walkway below the Riad which can be very noisy at night. There were groups of loud people hanging around late at night and motorcycles are allowed to drive through which is surprising because it’s not a street… I slept with earplugs every night.

Exceptional breakfasts with Nagette’s home cooked Msemmen ,orange semolina cake, homemade fig jam …very delicious.
Our room was comfortable and stylish. We had fresh sheets and towels every few days.
The staff are warm, friendly and incredibly helpful.

The bed was soft and cleaning lady was very nice. She washed our clothes after paying and made lovely breakfast.
When we arrived, there were ants everywhere. We asked for a different room but they told us the riad was full but they would clean the room and there would be no more ants when we got back. There were still ants and we simply got an anti ant spray to kill the ants. Furthermore, the riad is located in a rather smelly street with cat poop everywhere and we did not see the owner for the entire duration of our stay. The room was incredibly humid, even the bed was moist.
Lastly, the facilities said parking available, but there was just a paid parking spot down the road, which was quite expensive. Overall the price is not in line with the provided facilities.
