Very good shower rooms and bed rooms. Plus a tv in each room. Very spacious and nice overall except points mentioned below which can be easily rectified.
(Sitting room/ Dining room), Freezer not usable due to being completely iced up and door could not be closed found drink cans behind sofa, sofa uncomfortable. battery cover missing on tv remote, General cleanliness not up to luxuary standard, ie: sticky patch on floor around kitchen island, coasters and table mats sticky. Sitting room windows very hard to open or shut. Only one tea towel and no cleaning clothes for cleaning up although requested to do so by owners. These problems were reported to the company but no action taken. would have been nice to have extra keys.

The apartment was excellent; well presented and spotlessly clean. The kitchenette was well equipped and there are several convenience stores near the apartment. The beds were very comfortable, including the sofa bed in the lounge. The bathrooms were excellent and both had great showers. We stayed during hot weather, and the owner thoughtfully provided fans in the rooms, which we really appreciated. The apartment is very well located and the main attractions in York are a short walk away. We traveled to York by train. Bishopthorpe Road itself is a delight, with several interesting shops, cafes, and restaurants.
Nothing. The iron was a bit difficult to find.

Toaster is dangerous as it wouldn’t eject the bread and twice set off the fire alarm.

The flat inside is lovely and spacious and modern, but lacked storage for clothes in the upper bedroom and so if you were two couples sharing the flat, only one bedroom provides a rail for hanging your clothes. Loved the tv in the wall, and the beds were very comfortable with lovely bed linen. The flat could do with some touches of Yorkshire,
We did not like the entrance to the flat. Outside of the flat is dirty and the communal staircase to the flats needed a good clean and vacuum, it smelt terrible. No cleaning cloths under the sink, no oven gloves and the pedal bin in the kitchen was broken. Hand soap in the bathrooms were almost empty. The flat is on a very busy road and we had pneumatic drills outside for two days digging up the road, which made it impossible to sleep past 8am as the noise went right through the flat. We were also woken up on the Monday night at 4.30am by noisy bin lorries emptying all the bins. We had to have the windows open as it was during the heatwave. If you are a light sleeper this is not the place for you, as the adjoining flats and shops are noisy and cooking smells strong first thing in the morning.
