Dobra lokalizacja do zwiedzania wyspy. A Sao Miquel cudowne.

See below review.
We booked this apartment after reading the reviews and paid the full amount in advance. Initially, communication with the host was good, and everything seemed to be going smoothly.
Unfortunately, during our vacation in Cape Verde, Azores Airlines was affected by a ground crew strike, resulting in the cancellation of our flight. We were only informed of this when we arrived at the airport.
Naturally, we were quite distressed. We immediately tried to contact the host to explain that, due to circumstances beyond our control, we would be arriving three days later than planned. We wanted to reassure the host that we were not cancelling our reservation and simply needed confirmation that the apartment would still be available upon our arrival.
This was when communication seemed to break down completely. Despite sending several emails explaining our situation, we received no response. In fact, as I write this review, those messages remain unanswered.
As two senior travellers, this lack of communication added considerable stress to an already difficult situation. We had no idea whether our accommodation would still be available and even began making contingency plans to book a hotel in case we could not access the apartment.
Fortunately, upon arriving in Ponta Delgada, we drove to the apartment and followed the host's instructions, which had been sent the day before our original departure date. We were able to retrieve the keys and access the apartment without any problems. What a relief! However, a simple acknowledgement from the host in response to our emails would have spared us a great deal of unnecessary worry and anxiety.
Unfortunately, our first impression upon entering the apartment was not particularly pleasant. In the bathroom, we immediately noticed two dead cockroaches. Not exactly the welcome one hopes for.
Parking was another inconvenience.
