Belle-Vue was wonderful. The view from the main bedroom was exceptional. The location is perfect for the town, and also surrounds. The apartment has all the essentials, washing machine and dryer, oven, cooktop, fridge (although no freezer, embrace the French way and eat fresh each day), and a portable aircon (although you don’t need it. We stayed during a heatwave in Paris, and didn’t use it once). There is plenty of car parking in the town including public parking lots, the apartment does have parking spaces, but you’d want a smaller car.
Suits a family of four, or two couples. The owner is very responsive.
The apartment is not suitable if you had mobility issues. There is ground level entry, but the bedrooms are upstairs, to get to the view!

The location is great and the apartment is well thought out. The beds are comfortable. The TVs are modern. Having the balcony in warmer weather would have been amazing as the views looked lovely. It is a really great base for a stay in Hautvillers.
The stairs to the top bedroom are quite steep and you have to use them to use the toilet at night. It was a very cold day and it took a while to warm the apartment up. The lock on the front door is quite hard to open.
