Agrapana Beach Villa - True Exotic Balinese Experience

A nice getaway from the business of Bali . Staff amazing and Villa large and clean .

Only 15km away from Sanur didn’t realise traffic could take upto 50mins to get to Sanur . Also pool is a bit chilly for my liking , I assume in the warmer months would heat up .

The villas are large, spacious and well-appointed. The location is scenic and peaceful, and close to everything by car - you wouldn't be able to walk anywhere except down to the beach. It's great that it has a restaurant onsite.

I think the "service DNA" has been lost along the way, perhaps from people leaving, perhaps from not enough training. I don't mean the employees don't try, in fact they were uniformly friendly and keen to help, I mean service basics are hit and miss. As an example, one night we sat at the restaurant and ordered a meal. The meal duly came, and the waitress stood back from the table and asked us whether there was anything else. My wife and I just looked at each other and at the same time simply said "cutlery?". The meal itself was delicious!

No sun beds or lounger available even after I requested one, dirty bean bags does not do it for me …not comfy. Had to make do with what I had in the villa I booked half board : for me a dinner includes at least 2 courses, some bread, a drink and a coffee…in my package a dinner was a main course only! After complaining they include a water can-) Noise-scream for gecko ( local animal ) every nights wakes me up 3 to 4 times a night so not great if quoi wanna sleep. Cleanliness can do better as well as maintenance ( toilet roll holder falling off the wall, light fixture beside falling down the wall, remote control so used that every button is black and can’t see what button is what for ?!? Not practical at all
