Tasty food, good location.

Wonderful stay !

I traveled with my mother and we had a wonderful stay . We stayed just one night but some more nights would be good as there are apparently places to trek and discover. Otherwise the location offers your peace and quiet . The stay was very comfortable. Food excellent . Santosh was very courteous and caring . The beds were comfortable and the service was so warm and caring . Please do go stay there with such wonderful people !

From the location of the hotel to its ambiance, their services and great hospitality. And the food was delicious, undoubtedly.

When you book this hotel, it says it's in Mukteshwar but in reality it's in Odakhan which made a lot confusion while reaching the place. Therefore, they should provide the clear directions.

Captains Paradise in real sense is a paradise. Away from over crowded Nainital tucked in a little known Village Oda Khan with no or little hustle bustle but yet easily accessible to Sithla, waterfalls, Mukteshwar temple, choli ki jhaali and Kapileshwar Mahadev temple. The drive to Mahadev temple both at Kapileshwar and Mukteshwar is awesomely beautiful. The cleanliness, service, response and assistance provided at Captain's Paradise is excellent. My special thanks to Mrs Anita: the captain of the ship, Sunil, Aman and Bhanu for making my stay wonderful and memorable.

It’s is indeed paradise, the rooms are very spacious, clean with well appointed full length glass windows and balcony for magnificent views of the mountains ( you can see Mukteshwar temple peak). But property alone is not sufficient to make the stay great, and that’s where Sunil Goswami and his staff do full justice to make it a memorable home stay experience. They are very attentive to your needs, and keep everything ready for you just when you need it. It truly feels home away from home.

Amazing property with Amazing staff

Beautiful rooms with excellent fixtures which can give 5 star hotels a run for their money. Very nice bed and soft blankets which make you sleep like a baby. Very warm staff who will make you feel at home.

The best in Mukteshwar

Captains Paradise is a perfect get-away. Clean and efficient room, such a lovely view from the room. Spacious and clean washrooms, perfect water temperature. Also, the room was nice and cozy, I was traveling with a 2 year daughter and was unsure initially. Entire team was so polite and accomodating, from chefs to the desk team. We were unfortunate that it did not snow while we were there, but I witnessed the biggest rainbow ever.

Location is very good. It was one of the most peaceful location we stayed at during our week long trip in UK Property can do good with better management

Unlike the photos shown, there is no clear view of the snow capped Himalayas and peaks such as Nanda Devi and Panch chuli Heater amd geysers never worked due to power cuts and power fluctuations. This made the stay really uncomfortable. The food was good but quite high on cost. The entrance gate is quite awkward to navigate for a two wheel drive car. The tire skids which makes it quite unsafe to get in and out without help from the staff Overall for the premium they are charging over other homestay it wasn't value for money. We spent INR 29k for two rooms for two nights including food and got better service and facilities at other homestay where we spent half as much

A hidden Gem with a great view. Ideal get away from city. Very clean hotel with great food

The BF and Dinner was prepared in Kumaoni style. Some special dishes were also prepared on demand. The Chief Manager Rohit is ex Oberoi and knows how to prepare perfect dishes. The property is BRAND NEW ! Huge rooms built in 5 star style and everything impecably clean. Rohit is a local guy and knows every thing around. He took us through a wild forest trek to Mukhteshwar ! Amazing views and great scenaries. Next day he showed us a route through dense forest. Even the sunlight was not touching the ground. At every step of the treks and visits he guided us to something new which routinely everyone misses !! Local guy and his knowledge put to best use. If anyone wants a 2/3 day off the beat visit to Muktheswar, captains Paradise is a great deal. Even the views from the Balcony is really beautififul, facing Muktheswar temple. Since it is away from the main temple route. Its really good to sit relax and enjoy the pin drop silence.

Its best to let the hotel guys park your car as it is a steep incline...not for regular drivers ! If u hv a SUV then u will love the challenge :). Wifi was slow and Rohit said they are working on it.
