Unfortunately, our stay at Ragnar Glamp Koknes was a very disappointing experience.

The door lock was broken.

Unfortunately, our stay at Ragnar Glamp Koknes was a very disappointing experience. The main reason we chose this accommodation was the opportunity to relax in the hot tub or sauna. Before our arrival, I was told that it could be booked by phone. However, when I called on the day of our check-in to make a reservation, I was informed that this was not possible because the owners were not on site. This was extremely disappointing, as it was one of the main reasons we chose this place. The safety situation was even more concerning. The lock on our apartment door was not working, meaning that anyone could potentially enter from outside, even during the night. This made us feel unsafe throughout our stay. Other advertised or expected facilities were also missing. There was no kitchen and no outdoor area where we could grill or prepare food. After using the bathtub, we had no hot water for approximately 2–3 hours. There was also no internet connection in the apartment. What made the experience even worse was the lack of communication and assistance. When we tried to contact the owners during check-in, nobody answered our calls or messages. When they eventually responded, their replies were dismissive and showed little concern for the problems we were experiencing. Overall, the accommodation did not meet our expectations, and the lack of basic facilities, the broken door lock, and the poor communication made our stay extremely unpleasant. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this place based on our experience.

A wonderful experience!

A particularly beautiful location, with cozy and comfortable chalets. Very peaceful and relaxing.

If the curtains were just a little more blackout, I’d give them 100 out of 100

Nice cozy place

Cool place to be. All facilities are well thought thru and well established. There are plenty of outdoor spots to chill, eat or have a drink with a view. Inside is cosy, comfortable and elegant. Host is super attentive. Great for motorcyclists as there is a garage in the neighbourhood.

Mosquitoes.

Nice design!

We stayed in a room with a bath, a very nice room, but unfortunately it was almost impossible to take a bath, because the water was barely warm, turning it on to the maximum.
