The location and price ratio were just hard to beat compared with other places.
Ortaköy mosque is my favourite place in Istanbul, and I felt extremely happy to live 3 minutes walking from it.
The uphill to the hotel isn't really bad, and it's very short.
The room was on the quiet street, and we slept with the door to the garden open.
A lot of food places are just around the corner.
The room was bigger than expected, and the team was friendly.
All in all - highly recommended.
The kitchen area could be a little bit cleaner, and pillows could be softer.

Great location: very close to Ortaköy ferry terminal, nearby the lively area with restaurants, shops etc
The room was tiny, but provided access to the balcony and a lovely view of Bosphorus from the window.
The staff were excellent and very helpful.
Everything else was nice and we enjoyed our stay at this hotel

The location of the property is excellent — very close to the Bosphorus, with easy access to the river and bridge, which was really nice. The apartment itself was clean, simple, and comfortable, making it a good base for exploring the area.
I was expecting a hotel-style stay, but the accommodation felt more like an apartment building, which I didn’t enjoy as a solo traveller. The metal doors were very loud, and I was woken several times by neighbours coming and going.
The bathroom was not in good condition and really needs updating — I avoided using it more than necessary. I spent most of my time out and only returned in the evenings to sleep, which was manageable as I met friends while I was there.
This place may be suitable for travellers on a budget, but it wasn’t the right fit for me personally.
