Very comfortable one night stay. The room was large, clean, and the bed was very comfortable. There was no noise from the pub down below which was fantastic. Staff were great, and very accommodating and helpful. The breakfast, while limited, was a very welcome addition to our stay! It was a self serve of toast, cereal, and packaged croissants. Tea/Coffee & Juice was available also.
We had a 3 course Sunday dinner in the restaurant and it was exceptional! Everything was delicious, fresh, quick, and service was fantastic too.
The room came with tea/coffee making facilities, and a tv which was a nice touch.
The bathroom was a nice size.
Overall, I felt really safe and looked after, which meant I really enjoyed my stay here.
Aside from the bar/restaurant below, there are no facilities surrounding the hotel such as shops, so if you're staying here I recommend bringing water/snacks before hand.
Shower head was covered in limescale resulting in poor flow.
Wfi was free which is great, however it was muck.

A lovely old pub in a peaceful & beautiful location. Had a great Sunday diner.
The bath was dirty. It had not been properly cleaned
