This is a fantastic house in a great location . Really quiet and the whole garden , pool and spa totally child safe ! We stayed a week for our son’s wedding at La Bastion and it couldn’t have been in a better position. The house was very clean and we couldn’t fault all the equipment . The beds were comfortable and the views sensational upstairs . Instructions for the house were easy to follow and all communication prior to the stay was fantastic. There is an indoor market daily literally round the corner and the waterfront and cafes a 5 min flat walk. Pool man came once a week so spa and pool very clean . Literally can not wait to come back to this beautiful house . Parking on site a real bonus.
The car port / garage is tight - we had a LS200 truck which is huge but still got in but prepared to reverse

Prachtig huis op een centrale plaats om Ile de Ré te ontdekken. De hot tub is een aanrader. Op vragen van ons werd direct gereageerd en wel op een manier zoals het hoort.
De kamers zijn groot, de badkamers prima. Serre is ook mooi, maar in het najaar wat tochtig.
Mooie locatie om zowel het stadje St. Martin de Ré te ontdekken, maar eigenlijk het gehele eiland.
Kosten zijn wel vrij hoog, maar je krijgt er wel wat voor terug.
Parkeren is een dingetje, omdat je maar één auto kwijt kan (als je goed navigeren), de rest van de auto's moet verderop worden neergezet.
Wifi valt af en toe uit. Kan zeker op hogere verdieping beter.
Huis is geschikt voor 10 personen, maar 8 lijkt wel de max.

La maison est parfaitement située, à deux pas des commerces et au calme. Il est possible de garer une voiture, ce qui est pratique dans ces petites rues sans places de stationnement.
Logement très propre, fonctionnel, cuisine bien équipée. Nous avons apprécié la piscine et le jacuzzi.
Nous y reviendrons avec plaisir !
