We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Camino Cove - it was a great spot for our girls' book retreat!

House was easy to find. It was clean and decorated very cute. Kitchen was pretty well stocked with needed items to cook. House had lots of space and comfortable beds. We felt very safe and the property was nicely situated on the lake.

Door code was provided- more instructions were needed to open the door effectively. We though the code didn't work at first. Fridge smelled very bad when we opened it even though the shelves were clean. Also, the hot tub was not working during our stay and that was 98% of the reason we booked this particular house. There was only two trash bags in the entire house.

Needs Cleaning

The location was good. It had a great dock for the boat and plenty of parking for 4 couples.

The property was double booked and Evolve told us we would have to leave even though the other booking didn't begin for another 2 days. The owner said he preferred we leave as well, then came back with we could stay. Very stressful beginning to our trip after traveling 3 hours. Several amenities were unusable or missing: the oven, the outdoor grill, living room ceiling fan, one of the living room chairs, and the screened in porch were unusable. The toiletries were non-existent. Had to bring in our lawn chairs to have room for all 8 of us. The AC went down in the middle of the night. The owner did send a repairman, but it took till the middle of the next night to cool off. We agreed to allow the carpet cleaners to come in since they werent expecting anyone for 2 more days (even though we had made reservations and had confirmation). The garbage can in the kitchen had a hairball and dried food under the liner and the underside of the lid. Cobwebs absolutely everywhere, inside and out. Mouse droppings in cabinets and utensil drawers. Beds were hard. Bunk beds did not have top sheets. Didn't realize that till getting in bed the first night. The cleaning lady came the second day to put them on and cleaned the cobwebs off the back staircase railings. She was unable to clean the screened in porch or do any other cleaning. The porch screen was ripped allowing the tons if lake life misquitos to come in looking for a victim. Between the ripped screen and the dirt, we were unable to enjoy the porch. The photos on the listing are very misleading when it comes to cleanliness. Poison oak was growing in the back yard and both front and back yards needed mowing. The back yard had a dead tree limb and an open shed full of junk that is a breeding place for mice or snakes. Not safe for kids. If you don't care about cleanliness, this is a great place. If you do, keep looking. The guys who are just there for fishing may give rave reviews, I'm sure.
