Praxis CBR Boutique Hotel - Coimbra

Excellent location, beautiful clean hotel, very friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast was fresh and served in the beautiful rooftop location overlooking the whole city, absolutely gorgeous!

A little weird design of the room, the bathroom is literally a cube made of glass that is see thru without any privacy.

This place is just "wow", from the washroom to the bedroom. The location is overlooking a beautiful square and the river, right in the heart of everything and close to some amazing restaurants. I was able to walk everywhere to explore this charming city.

If they remodel they should replace the carpet with natural floors :) That being said, I would certainly come back regardless!

The design is beautiful. Very centric location. Friendly staff. Amazing comfort.

The access by car was a bit tricky

The room was comfortable, quiet and unique with its layout and "faux" book wall decor. The fifth floor lounge and roof top area were great as was the breakfast there. The staff was friendly and helpful and spoke English well.

The location was difficult for loading and unloading luggage. For loading, we managed to temporarily park right outside but apparently we violated local ordinance as area is reserved for pedestrians during most of the day. Arrival staff did not mention ordinance and nothing seem to become of it. However, staff at departure mentioned the ordinance and that is was not a good idea to bring car to front of hotel. The alternatives were not good as parking was across the river and the other possible loading area was along busy street. Very stressful. Location, however, was certainly good for restaurants, river sites, and the University.
