The location (very close to the market), the building itself is gorgeous with wide views to the mountains. Breakfast was excellent. The front of house staff was helpful.
The staff recommended us a transfer to Semuc Champey in the back of a van for Q25 each, it was a very bumpy and hot journey standing for 30-40 min with 10 other people. On the return journey we got a far more comfortable tuk tuk just for the 2 of us for the same price.
Laundry service is available through the staff but very expensive, which was not made clear when we handed in our clothes. We paid Q75 for a small bag (prob no more than 2kg, if that). For South America, that’s unexpectedly expensive.

The location is perfect. Just a short walk from the bus station but close to restaurants and shops. Perfect for anyone going to Semuc Champey.
It was clean and had areas to sit with great views. The price was fantastic too

Clean, comfortable base and very reasonably priced base for visiting Semuc Champey. Really lovely staff.
There is some road noise, but they offer earplugs and it didn’t bother us that much. Mosquito nets over the windows would allow guests to open the windows to cool the rooms down more easily in the evenings.

I liked the location and the staff
Although the cleaners did clean, I saw them a lot, the place is old and the they need new toilets etc installed, they smelt and it wasn’t pleasant. Cold water for showers, nowhere to hang clothes in the bedrooms. It was just 3 beds and a fan
