Clouds Lofts - Quartier Latin

The suite is very nice, smaller than I expected but beautifully set up and it’s great value. Some bumps here and there in cleanliness but it’s nothing bad! The staff via text were quick in response and helpful. Location is incredible!

Our room didn’t have a closet to put our stuff which we didn’t realize. There was a table but just made it a bit cramped. Our bed was Super soft ( I guess that’s why it’s called Cloud LOL! But it was almost too soft and was very uncomfortable for myself and my partner.

Really central location and close to many restaurants, public transportation, including the bus to and from the airport. The apartment I got was big and spacious. I like that because it's a small property, so you're not dealing with plenty of hotel guests and noise, etc.

Hairdryer was missing. I asked for one from staff and they said they were all out. I don't understand why that should be. I was there for 5 days and only 3-4 coffee pods. Bed was a little firm. Bathroom was small compared to the rest of the room, but it was nice and clean and modern.

When looking for a place to stay in Montreal, I checked the "parking" filter. Upon arrival, we realized there was no parking on the street. You can see several screenshots from Booking.com proving this. Parking (even "private parking") was listed among the facilities (attached photos). I called the number listed on the website and spoke with a man representing the company that manages Clouds Lofts. He said it was my mistake. I hung up, checked the website and tried to call him. I sent him screenshots proving I was right and asking him to pick up the phone. I didn't get any answer. He wasn't picking up the phone. I called booking.com and spent a long time talking to a man, hoping they would help me cancel my reservation and find a hotel with parking. The representative from Booking.com told me I was using the wrong version of the app on my phone when I made my reservation. When I said I did the booking on my laptop, he said it was my mistake "because I didn't look into the details". When I said that I checked the "parking" filter, he said it wasn't possible. He said he didn't see "parking" as a facility. That's why I am attaching photos from today, July 15, 2026 ( you can see the date in the bottom right). I was told that I could not cancel the reservation and get my money back. We parked the car in a public underground parking across the street. NOT a PRIVATE parking. As we were using the car in Montreal, we paid quite a large amount for the parking. Sumerizing: the info on Booking.com is still fake. The company managing the lofts doesn't pick up the phone when asked to clarify the situation (the day after they had the nerve to send me a message asking if I was enjoying my stay). Booking.com didn't help me; instead, it gaslighted me, saying it was my mistake. The property itself is a step up from a hostel.
