Besides the perfect location, a short walk from Bab Bou Jeloud, this accommodation is top quality and a great deal if you are planning to stay a few days in the city. Rooms are spacious , carefully decorated and very comfortable. Hamid was always attentive and willing to help you with tips and such. Definitely coming back and recommending, it feels like home!
It would have been nice to have an earlier on site breakfast since we have to leave before 8am, but in any case they arranged a packed to go one for us and that detail was very valuable. Nothing to complain about.

Riad Soultana is in a fantastic location, just a 5 min walk from the Bab Boujloud gate, which is recommended for those staying in Fez / Medina for the first time.
The room was good, and since the riad was quite quiet during my stay, the staff kindly offered me a room upgrade. Communication via WhatsApp was convenient, and I appreciat receiving a daily message asking when I would like breakfast. The riad is currently undergoing some refurbishments (including the rooftop area where there there is another kitchen with a microwave). The staff were accommodating and allowed access to the kitchen fridge upon request to store food or drink.
Overall, I highly recommend Riad Soultana for its excellent location and great service. I paid £122.40 for 7 nights (includes the 14 euros tourist tax paid at the time of check-in) on September 2026 which works out to be under £18 per night.
Everything was great.
A few minor improvements would make the stay even better. Booking listings could be clearer regarding room floor levels, approximate sizes, and listed amenities. Adding hand soap in every bathroom and mini fridges would be a great addition. Lastly, expanding the breakfast options to include classic Moroccan Mint Tea (Atay) would be great, as only coffee was offered during my stay.

amazing facilities, the room was exceptional and had a lot of space, very clean. The rooftop has great views.
It was one of the best stays in Morocco.
