Great property in a convenient location, 5 minutes walk from the beach, 2 minutes from the High Street, 5-10 minutes from the harbour. A real bonus that there is a parking space too. Whitstable is a lovely town to visit - the beach and harbour are full of life with some fabulous pubs and restaurants. The property itself is bright and airy and having a small courtyard for some outside space added to the stay. The hosts were great - on our arrival the property had not been cleaned but they were available to answer our query within 5 minutes on a Sunday and they had it sorted within 2 hours, thank you. Would definitely visit one of the Salt Yard properties again.
There is noisy building work going on just outside the rear of the property which started by 7am each day - that was not ideal and looks as though that will be ongoing for the rest of 2026. It would have been nice to have a king size bed, I realised it was a double bed when booking but with the high temperatures a king size bed would have made the nights more comfortable.

The location was brilliant for walking to the beach and the high street of Whitstable.
Toilet was downstairs and bedroom and lounge on the first floor. We don’t like nylon bed covering so bought new white cotton in Tesco superstore nearby.
Otherwise it was all brilliant and we would stay again and recommend it.
