The owners are incredibly nice—they even met us at the door when we arrived, despite us missing their messages about arrival time.The house is spotless, in a perfect location, and fully equipped with a great kitchen, dishwasher, and washer/dryer. Everything was fully functional and convenient. Highly recommend Gauksmýri Guesthouse!

Hot water was kept after 9pm. We have no water to drink in the evening and morning before we start the journey. There is no kettle too.
