Bird lovers paradise!!!

We loved staying at this cosy cottage in Cafayate. The host was so so lovely and helpful. Check-in was easy. The house was beautifully decorated with comfortable indoor and outdoor areas to enjoy. Our favourite thing was sitting in the gorgeous garden watching the various birds, as well as being able to make asado on the padio 😍

Wasn't at all major but kitchen could have had a few more things to make the stay easier - fry pan, wine opener, microwave ect.

Great place to stay in Cafayate if you have a car.

It’s inside a “club de campo”, with security at the entrance, and right next to a place that offers beautiful horse rides. Great views of the surrounding mountains.

There was very little not to like for us. But having a car is basically a “must”.

Peaceful and great view on outskirts of town

The location has a great view and nice lawn, located on the outskirts of town. Perfect place if you are looking for quiet and you have a car of your own. Plenty of hot water. Two bathrooms ideal. Hosts were communicative and helpful.

ONE, try to arrive during daylight because it could take awhile to find this spot based on the instructions given. It is located past the purple-topped house (passing it on the left), then going left at the large light blue house, then around the corner to a driveway on the right, nextdoor to the light blue house. Google maps doesn't get you there. TWO, there was massive confusion about whether we would be charged VAT when paying directly to the hosts onsite (by Argentine law, foreigners do not pay VAT / IVA on accommodation, and this is never included in the base price). I suggest clarifying this with the hosts in advance, as It took us two days to resolve, as well as a lot of persistence and some tension with booking.com and the hosts.

Todo muy cómodo, la casa pensada en cada detalle . Seguridad privada todo el tiempo. Amamos el jardín , fuimos con un bebé y disfrutamos de la tranquilidad del lugar. Su anfitriona Silvina , muy atenta y amable.
