Leo, Guillermo, and Mati are amazing!! Mati received is in Puerto Escondido and was very communicative about the area and services.
Guillermo provided great service and was easy to talk to.
Leo and staff created amazing food everyday!!
We were a little hesitant to book here but the experience was amazing! From. The moment we arrived it was so beautiful and peaceful. We will definitely return!!

We had such a special 2 nights at Pueblo, it feels like you’re in the middle of nowhere despite only being a 40 minute drive from puerto escondido! It was peaceful and quiet, such a unique place to spend time being so close to nature. Food was outstanding, the chef Leo created absolutely amazing homemade dishes using local fresh produce. We had fresh fish, a roast lamb dish and dessert with every meal that had been freshly baked. Some of the best food I’ve had in Mexico! We were also so happy with the room, stayed in the cabanas which had hammocks overlooking the forest - bed was huge and comfy. Ivan the manager was also super friendly and helpful. And Fabian the driver was very kind too and dropped us at our next airbnb after :) can’t recommend this place enough!

The staff are so friendly. The environment is relaxing and calming. The products (soap, etc.) are so well made and smell lovely. The honey and cafe are perfect! On our way back to the drop off, we even got to see San Pedro and the home and family of our driver; just so kind and down to earth.
It somewhat felt like we were starving. This place could improve in making sure guests have a way to a grocery store before hand or by offering things that are basic, such as bread, to go with their wonderful honey. For what was paid, I was left feeling hungry. I think it would be great marketing for their honey to offer bread complimentary, and then each additional loaf at a small fee. If you are going to take guests away from any food purchasing options, you should make sure portion sizes and options for non meat eaters are comprobable to the cost of stay.
