Loved the room, nice and big and refreshing that three of us could fit in it very comfortably. It was nice to have all facilities in the room too so we could enjoy a really chill night.
The doors closing from the other bedrooms are a little noisy but it’s an old building and original doors but I don’t know if there’s anyway they can be adapted to soft closing.

Ashby’s is a perfect getaway. Beautiful room, very nice spa, great common area, with full kitchen facilities and games room with free video games, billiards, air hockey, foosball, table tennis and bar area. Every little detail was very well thought out.
Hot tub access without spa is a bit pricey.

the room itself was lovely the beds really comfortable, the decor and the finish were exceptional , very helpful staff, great facilities available to use
we described it as organised chaos, when we opened a cupboard in the kitchen for tea, there was a lot of clutter, the water was either hot or cold, really struggled with the tap to get the right temperature for a shower, pillows seem cheap quality in comparison to the rest of the finishing and were uncomfortable. We would have liked to have used the hot tub or spa but feel the additional £25 each was to expensive and felt the way the kitchen looks onto the hot tub doesn’t make it very private . The initial arrival doesn’t represent the rooms well as it was a mess, not great first impressions. Couldn’t understand why check in wasn’t in the main building or staff using the kitchen in the main building. Every guest we saw knocked on the door of the main building but then we were told we had made a mistake and every guest does it, so why not change it? instead of getting flustered and then walking guests through multiple doors and walkways.
