We stayed at Woodpecker Lodge twice during our Scotland trip – once on our way up to the Highlands and again on our journey home – and both stays were fantastic.
The lodge was comfortable, well equipped and had everything we needed for an overnight stop. I’m a huge Highland coo fan, so I absolutely loved all the little Highland coo touches throughout the lodge – they were such a lovely detail and made me smile.
We were very happy to return for our second stay and would definitely stay here again.
The only small thing we noticed was that the carpet in the living area could do with a good clean. Apart from that, everything was lovely.

Easy to access and very clean and comfortable.
Nothing to do with the property but had very inconsiderate neighbours slamming car doors constantly. The cars are parked close to the bedroom sides of the property .

Clean and spacious
Heating did not work, broken valve in main bedroom messaged hosts but didn’t hear back. There were bits that need replacing like cooker knob
