very generously sized multi-bedroom appartment in heart of old City. Friendly host. Excellent value

location fantastic for centre of old city. Lots of friendly and good value places to eat or relax nearby

The apartment was a little cold at night - but then it was early January which can be chilly even in Morocco

A simple but comfortable apartment to base yourself at in Essaouira

The apartment was central and had a full working kitchen (we didn’t use it ourselves but it had everything that you might need to cook a meal. It also had a washing machine which was useful for us as we’d been travelling for a week. Rashid and Fatima were both friendly and welcoming with Fatima showing us where the apartment was.

The stairs on the way from the exterior door to the apartment are in need of repair and the shower could possibly do with some tiles as the paintwork is suffering from damp as a result.

5 / 10

Great location but needs a thorough clean.

Great location in the heart of the medina, close to beaches and port but down a quiet street (apart from the mosque).

Not very clean, cat faeces in plant pits outside front door, mould on bathroom wall, floors not mopped/swept, bed linen not changed from previous guests.
