Everything and in no particular order, the setting by a creek, the facilities, the stylish and beautiful decorating, the kind and generous hosts, the nearby walking and the breakfast. We loved it all!

I stumbled across Rooms by the River while on a bike trip and desperately looking for a place to crash last minute as I'd run out of energy. I booked online and arrived 30 min later. I received the most incredible welcome and was unbelievably well taken care of. The hosts are amazing, super kind and caring and generous. The room is beautiful and every detail is attended to. This place is really above and beyond for a B&B and if I had a reason to come back any time I would.

Very friendly owners. Made to feel extremely welcome. Tips on how to walk to Corwen (less than 5 k and very easy walk).
Bed was mostly comfy, if a little soft for my liking, but that is personal taste. Lovely hearing the sound of the stream outside the window.
Super handy to walk to Corwen and then use the train to get up and down the Dee valley to Llangollen.
Shower head was leaky, but the water pressure was very good. Shower tray was slow to drain.
Cold toast.
