Good location, clean and comfortable. Awful reception staff and stupid policies
We didn’t have one OCI card for one person so they wouldn’t let us book in. We had passports for 6 people and visas proofs for five people. Just one oci card missing and we wasn’t allowed to book in for an hour. We had to get someone to travel to our residence and then take a picture of our oci card then they let us book in . Never ever in India have I experienced this in any five star hotel before. Last year I only had my British drivers licence and I was allowed to book into a hotel. The Marriott’s hotel in Amritsar allowed us to book in without this oci card. It was really late and my children were very hungry and tired and potentially they said without the OCi card they wouldn’t let us book in. Which would have meant another 4 hour drive back to our village at 9pm at night. Absolutely shocking staff and hotel Policy. Everyone else with a passport and visa wasn’t allowed to go to the room either until the sixth person got his oci card proof. I even argued that the sixth person won’t stay at this hotel but please let the other check in so my elderly mum and kids could atleast get someone rest. They just don’t budge and said they can’t allow that. After thirty minutes of dialogue I finally had to raise my voice and argued only then did they allow the rest to book in. would never stay here again shocking treatment from a Radisson hotel.
