Our stay at Hotel Oleena in Habarana was wonderful. Jeewa and Masha were fantastic hosts, the food was great, and the atmosphere at their homestay felt very welcoming throughout.
The rooms were a good size, with the option of fan or AC, and we loved having a balcony to sit and read on. There were nice opportunities to walk through the rural neighbourhood and meet the locals, as well as an easy walk into town.
Jeewa put together a great plan for us: a village tour, climbing both Sigiriya and Pidurangala, a jeep safari to see the elephants, and visits to the Dambulla cave temple and local herb and spice farms. Plenty of good activities to fill our time in and around Habarana. Masha's cooking was a real highlight too, full of local flavour and always generous.
Jeewa himself is such a nice man, very polite, and a genuinely good tuk tuk driver with a lot of patience. He took the time to lead us around and juggle his commitments to all his guests, and it was flawless. Thank you so much, Jeewa and Masha.

We had such a relaxing stay at this homestay. The vibe is incredibly warm and welcoming, and while the facilities are basic, they're more than enough for a comfortable stay.
We arrived in Habarana with absolutely no plans, and Jeewa took the time to understand what we wanted and arranged everything for us at very reasonable prices. The drivers he organised were reliable, and the vehicles were comfortable too. He even helped us remove a dragonfly that got into our room.
We were so happy with his service that we asked him to handle all our town-to-town transportation for the rest of the trip.
Truly a helpful and trustworthy host! Highly recommended!

Very nice stay in peaceful surroundings. Clean and comfortable room with good AC. We were lucky enough to see some gray langurs on the property. Incredibly kind hosts that really go out of their way to provide you with the best experience. Jeewa arranged an excellent safari for us, helped us with transportation and provided us with so much useful information about traveling Sri Lanka. Oh, and the food was delicious! I highly recommend staying here.
