The fact that you had to hire sheets and towels and was not informed by booking.com Also that how to access the apartment was a nightmare once again by not being informed by booking.com of a different location for the office to pick up keys. Interhome who manage the property was very helpful once you could gain access to them

Great location. It has a proper oven as well as a microwave.

Location is unbeatable. It’s on the main strip but as it’s toward the back of the building, the place is very quiet (view is also amazing). Most importantly: Chamonix Centre bus stop is only a short ski-boot walk away! Also, delicious smashed burgers are right next door :D Interhome answered all Qs but sometimes would take a few days. We collected keys out of hours and it was simple enough (short walk away). We also ordered towels and linen and it was at the property when we got there. Despite the below issues, would stay here again as it’s a bargain for the location.

Most places will leave you things like cupboard food (salt, pepper etc), toilet paper & cleaning supplies - this place will not! Expect to buy everything. Sometimes there was no hot water!! Seemed to happen during peak times when everyone got back from the mountain and wanted a shower (between 5-7pm). Was a slight hassle but not too bad since the hot water always returned eventually.

The property is centrally located, and the space is suitable for two people sharing for a short stay. However, despite is being rented on this platform as short-term holiday accommodation, the level of service and hospitality provided is nowhere near what I would expect for a stay of a few days or a week.

1. Key collection and drop-off take place at their office, which is around 10 minutes away from the property. This is not made clear when booking. You only find out about it in the check-in instructions sent a few days before arrival. Also the key collection is only available during their office opening hours in the afternoon, between 4pm and 6pm. This is also not made clear during the booking process. 2. There is no emergency contact number provided in case there is an unexpected problem in the apartment or if your flight or transfer is unexpectedly delayed and you arrive after 6pm. I have also seen reports on other websites from guests who arrived late and were left stranded in Chamonix because they had no number to contact. 3. Basically no customer service after they hand you the keys. The hairdryer provided in our apartment was broken. I discovered this in the early hours of the morning after taking a shower. At around 9:30am, I left a phone message and sent an email to the office asking if they could bring a working hairdryer. They eventually responded **six hours later** saying that they **could not replace it*** because they first needed to ask the owner. I find this response genuinely appalling. They were apparently happy to leave a guest without a basic item that should be provided and functional in the property. This was not a simple inconvenience, a working hairdryer is a basic amenity that a guest reasonably expects to find in the apartment! I was left without a hairdryer throughout my stay! 4. Towels and bed linen cost **extra**! As other guests have noted, towels and bed linen are charged separately, which I find outrageous for short-term holiday accommodation. Once again, this is only made clear in the check-in information sent shortly before arrival rather than being something that is transparently communicated as during the booking. Overall, this property is probably operated more like a long-term/self-catering rental most of the time.
