The property was well located with no-one overlooking us. Indoors it was exceptional...clean and very well equipped. The only slight downside was the state of the hot tub lid that really had seen better days and the surrounding court yard really needed a very good sweep clean. Instructions to get to the property wasn't very clear...it took us nearly an hour trying to find number 60! But aside from that our stay was lovely and we all enjoyed the break. The local pub nearby and outdoor swimming pool was an added bonus.

The property was very clean and the beds were comfortable. We really appreciated the thoughtful welcome gift of biscuits and wine! The space is adequate for a family of 5, and the kitchen is well-equipped for self-catering. Our kids enjoyed the on-site games room (note some machines require £1 coins), and there is a small shop and a very friendly local pub with good food. It's an easy place to relax at, tucked away from the road, with a nice view and the sound of the small stream downhill.
The shower had a very weak flow and lukewarm temperature, which was disappointing in December. We were also surprised to find no basic essentials provided, such as a dishwashing sponge, an extra bin bag, or more than a starting roll of toilet paper. While the house interior is well-kept, the exterior felt a bit tired and in need of some TLC.
We had a decent time, but it didn't feel like great value for money, particularly given the peak Christmas pricing. While it was a functional and relaxing stay, it's not one we would rush to book again.
