John and his family are just wonderful people! It felt like family to stay with them. They were also really helpful with a health issue we had during the stay.
John's wife is a great cook.
And I loved the outside bathroom with a really good shower!

It was a fun & welcoming place to stay. It was close to Moni and a gateway to Kelimutu Crater Lakes. John & his family were fantastic hosts and made everything easy in terms of offering pick up from Airport and drop off to the crater lakes. Breakfast was generous and delicious and the dinner offered was really delicious and very good value. I also enjoyed John telling us stories about his Culture & life.

John was the most amazing host I've ever met. He has a way of connecting guests and he told us a lot of funny/interesting stories. I haven't been bored for a moment of my stay. His sister in law is a great cook and the dinners together were very nice. They were also very flexible with breakfast time. John also helps with organizing transportation. (In my case, he pointed out that a nice British couple also goes to the same place afterwards, and they ended up taking me with their car, but otherwise he would have called a shared taxi for me). The room was simple, but clean. I couldn't complain about anything.

- We actually really liked the location. Because you are further away from town, it is a lot more quiet. In the rooms in town it would not be able to go to bed early, because of the live music playing. Also the location next to the river is beautiful.
- Staff is really really really nice. Had an amazing day touring with them.
- Nice, hot outside shower.
- I almost liked everything about our stay, but I can only give a 6 as a rating because there was mold everywhere. Our bedding was filled with black mold. There was mold on the wall as well.
