The location was great. The space was cute and clean.
Didn't love all the stairs and the bedroom was surprisingly warm. We had the window open with both fans going, and it was still difficult to sleep.

Barring the lack of heat, the place was well decorated and had a really cozy feel. It felt comfortable and was quiet and peaceful. The location itself was good and wasn't too far from Blowing Rock and Boone. We would definitely stay there again as long as heat wasn't really needed.
The place could have used better heating. The heater in the "living area" didn't warm very well and there was also no heating in the bathroom. The shower pan was moldy and the bathroom was dusty and had cobwebs. The entry could have used lighting and the entry door could have had a safety latch. There was a fireplace but there was no wood. A gas insert or just a working fireplace would have been nice.
